About the Role

We’re seeking an intern that’s passionate about cinema to work on our US Communications team. The role is based in New York, and will work closely with the US Marketing and Distribution teams, as well as the Global and UK Communications teams based in London, New York and Los Angeles. MUBI’s Communications team is responsible for global corporate and consumer communications, film, platform and brand publicity, talent management and awards.

We work hybrid-remote where we require 3 office days in New York. Our core days are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, with the flexibility to use our offices on the remaining two days if you wish.

Where you’ll have impact:
  • Assist the US Communications team with US campaigns for MUBI Theatrical and Platform Releases, including drafting press releases, press junkets, US festival logistics, in-person premieres, and special events and screenings

  • Maintain key campaign tracking documents including but not limited to publicity status reports, talent schedules, interview and screener request documents

  • Track press coverage and update internal and external press reporting documents

  • Manage US press inquiries and route appropriately

  • Support with internal calendars and meeting schedules

  • Taking notes on internal and external calls

  • Assist with courier and other office tasks as needed

This internship offers a monthly stipend of $600.
