Communications Intern (Spring 2027)

Benco Dental is searching for a Communications Intern for the Spring 2027 semester.

The Communications Intern will support Benco Dental’s internal communications and digital media efforts. This role will gain hands-on experience creating content, researching and writing stories, supporting social media, and contributing to communications across Benco Dental and the broader 1930 Ventures portfolio. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative thinker, and team player with an interest in storytelling, social media, and communications.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

• Research and write stories for Benco Dental’s weekly companywide newsletter
• Interview associates and gather information for internal communications
• Assist with proofreading, editing, and formatting communications
• Create social media content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram
• Write and edit social media captions and digital content
• Maintain social media content calendars and schedules
• Research social media trends, industry topics, and content opportunities
• Capture photos and videos at company events, meetings, and other activities
• Monitor social media engagement, comments, and messages
• Track social media performance and key metrics
• Support communications, marketing, and special projects as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards to support the efficient operations of the department and company
• Effectively communicates (reads, writes, and speaks) English

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

• Must be currently enrolled at time of internship in a Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations undergraduate or graduate program
• Ability to work 15 hours per week
• Must be local to the Pittston, PA area to work onsite
