THE ROLE: Communications Fellowship
Britebound is a national non-profit with a mission to support middle and high school learners to explore their interests, experience potential careers, and navigate a path to a meaningful and rewarding future. We fulfill our mission through free digital-first experiences, grantmaking, policy advocacy, research, and impact investing.
We believe that exploring career possibilities, as early as middle school, and providing access to education-to-career pathways aligned with one’s passions and goals will result in greater confidence and long-term success for all students.
We're looking for a Communications Fellow to support our Thought Leadership team and our national-level communications efforts. This is a six-month, part-time fellowship, up to 20 hours per week, based in Boston.
What You'll Do:
• Own calendar coordination and scheduling for the Thought Leadership team
• Produce meeting notes and same-day readouts to keep stakeholders aligned in real time
• Manage intake logging and routing for incoming requests
• Monitor media coverage relevant to our work
• Maintain and update our editorial calendar in Asana
• Provide the execution and follow-through that lets our team focus on strategy
About You:
• You have prior experience in PR, communications, journalism, or political science, including hands-on comms internships, and you bring a proven ability to execute on administrative details
• Comfortable in Google Workspace and either know Asana or can pick up new project management tools quickly
• You can reliably turn around notes and readouts the same day
• You take feedback and edits in stride and use them to improve your work
• You exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive, executive- or board-adjacent information
We'd love to hear from you!
Don't check every box on this list? Apply anyway. At Britebound, we're just as excited about passion, curiosity, and a genuine drive to keep learning as we are about a perfect resume.
