Holman is looking for a Communication & Training Design Supervisor – BDC to join their team! This is a hybrid position based in New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set team goals, priorities, and operating cadence across Instructional Designers, Training Admin, and Business Development Leads; allocate resources and manage workload.

  • Translate business objectives into learning roadmaps and oversee content development for Sales Advisors, Service Advisors, in-store employees, remote BDC partners, and strategic ad hoc Retail initiatives.

  • Review and approve learning artifacts (storyboards, scripts, assessments, eLearning, facilitator guides).

  • Own training operations and LMS governance including scheduling, rosters, communications, content uploads (SCORM/xAPI), metadata accuracy, reporting, and documentation.

  • Guide executive communications and project support—intake/prioritize requests; oversee high-quality presentations, proposals, and memos for senior leaders. This includes editing of all communications.

  • Drive stakeholder alignment with Retail leadership, Store Ops, BDC, Quality, HR, Training, IT and all other stakeholders; manage intake, scoping, status updates, and approvals.

  • Lead measurement and insights—define success metrics, build dashboards, analyze adoption/learning impact, and recommend improvements.

  • Coach and develop the team—performance check-ins, skills development, mentoring, and succession planning.

  • Directly manage strategic initiatives from a project management perspective, as needed.

  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor

  • Education or professional experience in Communications and/or Instructional Design

  • Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus

  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)

  • Proficient in learning management tools such as Articulate, Rise and Workday are a plus

  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in instructional design, training operations, and executive communications.

  • Strong background in stakeholder management, including intake, prioritization, and delivery of high-impact projects under tight timelines.

  • Familiarity with adult learning methodologies, accessibility standards, and compliance requirements for training content.

  • Ability to manage operational workflows such as scheduling, communications, and resource allocation in a fast-paced environment.

  • Skilled in executive-level communication support, including presentation design and proposal development.

  • Experience reviewing and improving processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Benefits:

Regular Full-Time

Temporary or Part-Time

In geographic areas with statutory paid sick leave, part-time and temporary employees will receive a paid sick leave benefit that meets the mandated requirements.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $87,550.00 - $124,755.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
