DNI is seeking a qualified Communication to support the United States Army. The Strategic Initiatives Group (SIG) Communication Specialist provides direct support to CPE C2IN leadership by developing executive briefings, creating visual communication products, and managing high-priority Army and Congressional taskers. This position enables timely, accurate, and professional support to senior leaders by translating complex information into decision-ready products and ensuring critical actions are tracked through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Briefings and Communications
- Develop executive summaries, talking points, information papers, and briefing materials for Army senior leaders and Congressional audiences.
- Build and maintain high-quality slide decks that clearly communicate operational, strategic, and organizational priorities.
- Review, analyze, and summarize policies, directives, correspondence, and other documents to support leadership decision-making.
- Prepare leadership for engagements by providing background information, key issues, and recommended messaging.
Graphics and Visual Products
- Create professional graphics, operational diagrams, infographics, and visual aids to support briefings and presentations.
- Translate complex concepts and technical information into clear, concise visual products for executive audiences.
- Ensure all visual materials support organizational messaging and meet Army presentation standards.
Tasker and Congressional Inquiry Management
- Manage the lifecycle of internal and external taskers from receipt through completion.
- Receive, track, and disseminate Congressional and Army-level Requests for Information (RFIs) and taskings to appropriate stakeholders.
- Monitor suspense dates, coordinate responses, and ensure timely completion of all actions.
- Review and edit responses for quality, consistency, and leadership approval prior to submission.
- Track engagement outcomes and follow-on actions to ensure all commitments and due-outs are completed.
Requirements
- Experience developing executive-level briefings, presentations, and communication products.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or related field.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Strong writing, editing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Experience creating professional graphics and visual communication products.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority taskers and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder coordination skills.
