We are currently looking for a Communication Project Manager to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
The Communication Project Manager will play a key role in strengthening project management practices across communication initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, quality delivery, and maximum visibility of programmes and policies.
This position combines strategic oversight, operational coordination, stakeholder engagement, and advisory responsibilities within a dynamic EU institutional environment.
This position is offered as a contract of approximately 110 working days.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of communication projects carried out by operational units ensuring their alignment with the communication strategies and objectives
- Monitor project progress, evaluate deliverables, and address risks proactively.
- Provide consulting and support to operational units to ensure the successful execution of communication projects, ensuring alignment with the communication plan and goals
- Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure the effective use and continuous evaluation of tools implemented to enhance the dissemination and exploitation of project results, maximizing visibility and impact.
- Participate in working groups and progress meetings to ensure coordination and alignment.
- Share insights and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
- Manage relationships with internal and external communication stakeholders (e.g. operational units, National Agencies) through digital platforms and by organizing Working Group meetings and webinars.
- Promote the dissemination and exploitation of program results to maximize visibility and impact.
- Provide internal and external strategic guidance and training to beneficiaries and stakeholders on communication-related aspects.
- Ensure the collection of project data and communication performance indicators for monitoring purposes and contribute to evaluations as needed.
- Contribute to the development of communication project briefs and documentation (i.e. terms of reference, calls for tender, strategic notes to management, input and feedback to external contractors, etc.) to ensure the successful execution of communication initiatives and actions.
Technical skills & Profile:
- Academic background or equivalent experience in communication, marketing/branding, media and/or audiovisual
- Solid understanding of project and quality management principles
- Usage of project management tools
- Excellent reporting methods
- User/customer oriented.
- Excellent presentation and/or moderation skills
- Ability to train others effectively within the scope of the project.
- Management of dissemination tools and experience with the European Institution IT environment desirable
- Solid knowledge of English: Understanding (C1), Speaking (C1), Writing (C1). Other languages may be an asset.
