Commodities Services supports EQT's commercial and trading organization through operational, reporting, and mid-office functions. The team reconciles physical gas volumes and invoices with midstream counterparties, coordinates daily nominations and imbalance resolution with field operations, and builds and maintains the dashboards and reporting infrastructure (Power BI, Spotfire, Endur) that traders and leadership rely on for pricing, exposure, and market decisions. The team also supports SOX and audit walkthroughs tied to commercial transactions.
This role is being hired at flexible levels — Associate or Analyst — depending on the candidate's experience. It's an entry point into the Commodities Services Team, working on operational, reporting, and mid-office support for the Commodities organization.

- Execute recurring reporting processes (daily, weekly, monthly) under supervision.
- Assist in maintaining dashboards and reports (Power BI, Spotfire, Excel, Endur).

- Support trade support and operational workflows.
- Compile and organize data for analysis and presentations.
- Support senior team members with ad hoc analysis and special projects.
- Support trading activities and operational reporting needs.
- Gather and document requirements by collaborating with stakeholders.
- Identify and implement incremental process improvements.
In practice, this looks like: reconciling monthly gathering/pipeline invoices against nominated and actual volumes, tracking and resolving imbalances (including imbalance trades in Endur), coordinating with field operations and production teams on nominations and volume questions, pulling and validating data feeds from pipeline interconnects, and supporting quarterly SOX/audit control testing for commercial transactions.

- Ability to follow structured processes and adhere to established workflows.
- Willingness to learn — actively seeks feedback and adapts to change.
- Foundational understanding of commodities markets (supply/demand drivers, price formation, major market participants).
- Foundational understanding of trading concepts (trade structures, order types, hedging, futures/derivatives).
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Organization and time management skills; ability to multi-task under competing priorities.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Foundational understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle (origination, confirmation, scheduling, nomination, invoicing, settlement).
- Basic understanding of P&L and pricing concepts.
