JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this role is to develop, oversee
drive and monitor the implementation of the BURS Corporate strategy to ensure
smooth strategy execution, risk management, governance and effective data
driven research methodologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement corporate strategy plans by
conducting thorough analysis and aligning objectives with organisational goals.
Provide guidance on ethical practices and corporate
governance by advising on ethical dilemmas and ensuring adherence to legal and
ethical standards.
Direct program and project management activities by
establishing project objectives, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure
successful project completion.
Oversee research campaigns and initiatives by
strategizing, executing, and evaluating research efforts
Collaborate with department heads to achieve strategic
objectives by fostering teamwork and aligning departmental goals with overall
Organisational strategy.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
by engaging in proactive communication and addressing stakeholder needs and
concerns.
Lead change management initiatives to support organisational
transformation by communicating changes, addressing resistance, and fostering a
culture of adaptability.
Requirements
A Masters Degree in either
Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, Finance or a related field.
At least 15 years experience in corporate
strategy, governance, and research roles, with at least 5 years in a senior
leadership/executive position within a business administration, strategy,
economics or financial services related industry. Demonstrated experience in developing and
implementing corporate strategies, coupled with strong leadership skills with
experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organisational change
is mandatory for this role.
