Babel Street is seeking a Account Executive, Commercial Sales to join its growing team. Candidates must have strong sales skills and a demonstrated history of quota achievement. This is a remote or hybrid position with preference for candidates local to a Babel Street office.
 
What you will do: 

  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of cross-vertical sales opportunities with a focus on strategic accounts/use cases 
  • Identify opportunities to grow new business and drive customer success 
  • Become an expert on Babel Street’s platform with a deep understanding of its functionality, features and benefits for clients 
  • Execute tactical and strategic sales account plans for existing and new clients, including handling client queries effectively 
  • Lead client mission and operational processes, identifying ways to integrate Babel Street into clients' workflows and recommending best practices 
  • Maintain constant awareness of markets and competitive activity, making appropriate strategic and tactical sales recommendations to always stay one step ahead 

What you will bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree a plus 
  • 5+ years of proven enterprise software/SaaS sales experience, preferably in fast-paced, technology and data product driven environments 
  • Strong presentation skills for delivering n-person and virtual presentations to audiences, highlighting your ability to perform client discovery, communicate ROI and build business value 
  • Expertise in prospecting, cross-selling and developing relationships with C-level executives 
  • Demonstrated quota achievement and territory growth and strong network for the types of products we sell 
  • Strong solution selling skills with the ability to demonstrate strong product knowledge 
  • Experience with CRM tools 
  • Self-motivation and an ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
