Holman has an opportunity for a Commercial Vehicle Product Specialist to serve as a strategic leader and facilitator, guiding product development and success in alignment with the company’s overall vision and objectives.

  This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and analytical skills to navigate the complexities of product management effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams to understand their requirements, gather insights, and align product development strategies with organizational goals.
  • Manage and lead cross-functional product development projects from creation to launch, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.  Own the scheduling aspect of projects, ensuring that timelines are met, and deadlines are communicated, and all departments are aligned.
  • Work with the leadership team to establish clear pricing objectives aligned with overall business goals.  Develop a pricing strategy considering market positioning, value proposition, and profitability targets.
  • Direct the pricing team to conduct comprehensive competitive analyses, evaluating competitor pricing structures, discounts, and promotions.  Identify gaps and opportunities in the market where the company can gain a competitive advantage.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure that products meet quality standards and are free from defects.
  • Identify and prioritize new product opportunities, including competitive analysis, price points, and estimated annual volume. 
  • Obtain product market share by working with internal departments, customers, and industry trends to develop product strategies.
  • Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; prepare return-on-investment analyses; and establish time schedules with engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing.
  • Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, anticipating volume, and costing unique and customized orders.
  • Continue to monitor products to ensure quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.  
  • Consistently monitors sales performance to gauge the product’s lifecycle.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of previous experience in product management.  This experience may include engineering, marketing, product development, project management, or business analysis roles

Education and/or Training:

  • An Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Preferred Certifications include CPM, CPMM, etc.
  • Proficient in various desktop tools, including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)

Benefits:

Regular Full-Time

Temporary or Part-Time

In geographic areas with statutory paid sick leave, part-time and temporary employees will receive a paid sick leave benefit that meets the mandated requirements.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $76,270.00 - $108,680.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
