We’re looking for a Commercial Sign Project Manager to lead projects from concept through to production and installation, making sure every job is delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to specification.
You’ll work closely with clients, designers, production teams, installers, and internal stakeholders to keep projects running smoothly. It’s a hands-on coordination role where strong planning, clear communication, and a sharp eye for quality really matter. Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities
- Lead commercial signage projects from briefing to final delivery, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, production, and installation oversight.
- Coordinate with clients to understand requirements, confirm scope, manage expectations, and provide clear project updates throughout delivery.
- Develop and manage project programmes, resources, and budgets, while tracking physical and financial progress and taking action where needed.
- Work closely with design, production, and installation teams to ensure signage is delivered to specification, meets quality standards, and is installed correctly.
- Identify risks, resolve issues early, and support safe, efficient delivery across multiple projects and deadlines.

- Significant experience in the signage industry, with proven project management experience in commercial signs.
- Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and delivery outcomes.
- Confidence coordinating clients, suppliers, and internal teams, with clear communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A strong focus on safety, quality, and getting the details right.
- Experience overseeing production and installation activities would be highly valued.
