About the Role

The Product Line / Commercial Analyst, Citric Acid is accountable for market, pricing, and performance analysis that enables profitable growth of the citric acid product line across food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications.
 

The role converts market signals, cost dynamics, and customer behavior into clear commercial recommendations used by Product Line Management, Sales, and Finance to set pricing, manage contracts, prioritize growth opportunities, and plan capacity-aligned demand.

This is an execution-oriented analytics role with direct impact on pricing actions, portfolio decisions, and operating plans in a volatile, globally traded commodity environment.

Details about what you will be doing:

  • Deliver analytics for Citric Acid strategy and value acceleration projects (VAP), including:
    • Market and supply/demand analysis
    • Input costs, margin drivers, and scenarios
    • Customer and competitive insights
    • Investment and initiative business cases
  • Support the activity-based Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and implement the Primient Operating Model for Citric Acid
  • Recommend product/customer mix; partner with Sales to execute and measure
  • Support annual contracting strategy with pricing tools and analytics (volume, price, terms)
  • Support forecasting, contract compliance, and account performance plans with Sales
  • Partner with Operations on productivity and innovation (value chain analysis, bottlenecks, yield/quality, packaging, best practices)
  • Partner with Finance to convert commercial assumptions into forecasts

What you’ll need to have:

  • Strong analytics, financial acumen, and critical thinking
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering, Sales, or Finance preferred
  • 2+ years’ relevant experience (commercial analytics, finance, operations, or related)
  • Cross-functional collaboration (commercial, manufacturing, finance, etc.)
  • Analytic methods experience preferred (e.g., Six Sigma, Value Chain Analysis, SKU Optimization, Customer Segmentation)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Total RewardsThe annual pay range estimated for this position is $82,112.00 - $102,640.00 and is bonus eligible.

Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
