The Commercial Pricing Analyst is responsible for day‑to‑day pricing analysis and execution across an assigned pricing portfolio, which may include commodity product lines, customer accounts, or a combination of both. This role ensures pricing accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance while supporting commercial decision‑making through analytical insight and collaboration with internal stakeholders.The Commercial Pricing Analyst applies established pricing frameworks and policies to support revenue, margin, and operational objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own pricing execution and analysis for assigned pricing portfolios (commodity and/or customer‑based)
- Analyze pricing requests, cost changes, and pricing adjustments
- Load, maintain, and validate pricing in SAP and related systems
- Ensure pricing accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable agreements and policies
- Perform margin, cost, and pricing impact analysis
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Contracts to support pricing decisions
- Respond to standard and moderate ad‑hoc pricing requests
- Maintain pricing documentation and support audit readiness
- Monitor pricing performance and identify routine improvement opportunities
- Other responsibilities, as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related field preferred
- Experience in pricing analysis, contract pricing, or commercial analytics
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SAP experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail‑oriented with sound commercial judgment
