About the role:

The Commercial Planning Manager develop and improve our Commercial Planning Processes through deep commercial and market insights that help us to generate investment efficiencies.

You have constant interaction with Channel Heads, Team Leaders, KAMs, MKT Managers, Commercial Finance Managers and Supply Managers.

Collaborate and coordinate commercial planning activities with key stakeholders both internally (Intelligence Tower & Growth) and externally to ensure and exceed our goals.

Functions:

  • Integrated Business & Commercial Planning

  • Consensus Forecast alignment.

  • Scenario Planning, Short (S&OE) & Mid-term horizon

  • S&OP administration (Sales Intelligence responsibilities) Leading the pre demand review (RBB - Reconciliation Building Blocks).

  • Building Blocks tracking.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Ability to inspire in others the value of understanding the Commercial participation in the IBP Diageo's Processes

  • Rigor & Discipline in S&EO Process Management.

  • The Commercial Planning Manager is co-responsible for leading and driving a collaborative and efficient S&OP across all the Organization.

  • Work as a leader handling and influencing cross-functional and business partner teams to make decisions and get results.

Experience

  • +5 years in Sales planning experience (Front Line or Back Office) including considerable experience handling S&OP process.

  • Wider cross-functional experience preferable e.g. Commercial, Finance or Supply.

  • Prior experience leading and embedding S&OP guideline ways of working

  • High degree of quantitative and analytical skills.

Qualifications Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of sales processes (Planning, Execution and Measurement) 

  • Ability to develop a collaborative relationship with different teams and hierarchical levels within the organization

  • A self-starter, action focused, with aim to create & hit your own goals

  • Comfortable to move between strategy & execution

  • Able to interface & influence key senior stakeholders in Finance, Supply, Marketing & Sales teams

  • Operational rigor and attention to detail.
