The Commercial Paralegal provides critical support to Lennar’s Commercial & Transactional Legal team, helping manage a high volume of legal documentation, regulatory requirements, contract administration, and legal processes that support Lennar’s home sales and business operations.
This role works closely with attorneys and senior legal professionals to maintain essential legal resources, support transactional documentation, coordinate regulatory requirements, and help ensure legal materials are accurate, organized, and executed efficiently.
Your Responsibilities on the Team
- Maintain and organize a library and database containing thousands of documents related to customer purchase and sale agreements and community-specific addenda (“PSA Documents”).
- Create and maintain regulatory databases, reports, and training materials related to licensing, political contributions, advertising, warranties, and other regulatory matters.
- Support Associate General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel with the preparation, revision, organization, and maintenance of high-volume legal documentation, including PSA Documents, disclosures, and disclaimers.
- Prepare routine legal documents, templates, correspondence, and administrative materials; proofread documents and coordinate execution and signature processes.
- Partner with attorneys and cross-functional business teams to gather information, coordinate documentation, and support legal projects.
- Provide administrative and legal support to one or more attorneys within the Legal department.
- Assist with document retention, insurance, litigation support, and other legal department initiatives as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive legal information.
- Help identify opportunities to improve organization, documentation, and processes within the Commercial & Transactional Legal function.
Your Toolbox
- Associate degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field and/or paralegal certification.
- 2–5 years of paralegal, legal assistant, or related legal support experience.
- Experience supporting attorneys, executives, and/or corporate departments in a fast-paced business environment.
- Experience working with contracts, legal documentation, regulatory requirements, or other transactional legal matters preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational, time management, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to independently research, resolve inquiries, and exercise sound judgment when addressing issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain composed, professional, and solutions-oriented while working under pressure.
- Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Collaborative team player who builds effective working relationships with attorneys, business partners, colleagues, and leadership.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

Skills Required
- 5 to 7 years of paralegal experience
- Corporate paralegal experience (preferred)
- Associate degree in Paralegal or Legal Assistant (preferred)
- Florida paralegal certification (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills
- Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of legal document preparation
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional appearance/demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal command of the English language
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
- Ability to operate computer equipment and lift/move up to 25 lbs
