Who we need

Reporting to the Vice President of Commercial Operations, we are looking for a Commercial Operations Transformation Lead to help accelerate the next phase of growth and operational excellence at Array. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who thrives on turning complex challenges into clarity and action. As the new Transformation Lead, you will act as a unifying force across Engineering, Project Management, Cost Estimating, and the Model Shop, bringing structure, alignment, and measurable progress to enterprise-wide initiatives. Partnering with the VP and other business leaders, you will design and execute strategies that enhance efficiency, quality, and collaboration across the organization.

This job posting is for existing vacancy that is an onsite role based out of our head office.

What’s in it for you

Impact. You will be the driving force behind transformation within Array’s Commercial Operations. As the right hand to the Vice President, you will help shape the future of how the organization operates, leading initiatives that directly influence how effectively Array delivers on its commitments to clients and scales for sustainable growth.

Challenge. This is a net new role and an opportunity to build, lead, and sustain meaningful change. You will bring people together, foster alignment, and embed governance and operational discipline that ensures lasting improvement across teams and functions.

Collaboration and growth. You will work alongside the Vice President of Commercial Operations and the Operations Consultant as a trusted partner in driving accountability and results. You will have the autonomy to shape enterprise initiatives and develop your own leadership trajectory within a company that values innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.

As our new Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Transformation delivery. You will lead and execute key initiatives that advance Array’s Commercial Operations transformation strategy. You will create a consolidated view of how all major projects connect to the company’s overall goals, bringing alignment, visibility, and accountability to every effort. You will partner with leaders across Engineering, Project Management, Cost Estimating, and the Model Shop to scope initiatives, set priorities, and ensure execution happens as planned.
  • Operational excellence. You will design and implement sustainable systems, tools, and governance models that embed continuous improvement into daily operations. You will help design the operational strategy, develop and monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and translate insights into actionable improvements that enhance quality, speed, and cost efficiency. You will ensure teams have the structure, tools, and support needed to sustain momentum and deliver consistent results.
  • Cross-functional collaboration. You will act as the connective link between teams and leadership facilitating daily stand-ups, weekly working sessions, and bi-weekly or monthly executive reviews to track progress and maintain alignment. You will remove roadblocks, keep projects on track, and hold teams accountable for deliverables and outcomes. You will run review meetings with stakeholders, manage project timelines and documentation, and ensure that every initiative stays visible and supported across departments.
  • Change leadership. You will coach and empower teams to embrace new ways of working, applying structured problem-solving and root cause analysis to drive lasting improvement. You will help build a culture of operational discipline, accountability, and continuous learning, creating the conditions for people, processes, and systems to evolve together.
  • Strategic partnership. You will work closely with the Vice President of Commercial Operations as a trusted advisor and executional partner, helping shape priorities, refine strategies, and ensure transformation goals are achieved. You will collaborate across multiple functions, including Engineering, Project Management, and Prototype Operations, as well as with key leaders in IT, HR, and Continuous Improvement, Sales and Operations. Together, you will align efforts, drive consistency, and embed sustainable practices that strengthen Array’s commercial operations and overall business performance.

You have:

  • The experience. You bring experience in project management, operations leadership, or commercial transformation roles, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or other complex, cross-functional environments. You have led large-scale change initiatives from strategy through execution and have a proven track record of improving efficiency, quality, and collaboration across teams.
  • The operational mindset. You understand how systems, processes, and people intersect to create value. You can map dependencies, anticipate risks, and build frameworks that enable sustainable growth. You focus on creating tangible, actionable improvements, not just ideas and translating strategy into results that endure.
  • The leadership capability. You are a natural integrator who thrives on bringing clarity to complexity. You excel at influencing without authority, earning trust, and guiding diverse teams toward a shared goal. You balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and are as comfortable leading governance meetings as you are problem-solving on the floor.
  • The communication and collaboration skills. You can distill complex information into actionable insights for executives and teams alike. You lead through transparency, empathy, and accountability keeping people informed, aligned, and engaged throughout the transformation process.
  • The toolkit. You are proficient in transformation and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or A3 thinking. You have experience with PMO frameworks, structured problem-solving techniques, and business systems that support operational excellence.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $130,000-$160,000. Compensation is thoughtfully determined based on your experience, skill set, and alignment with our internal compensation framework.
We’re always happy to answer questions about compensation throughout the hiring process.

What you can expect from the interview process:

  • A virtual interview with a Talent Advisor discussing your interest in the role and the company. The conversation will be recorded using BrightHire, an AI-powered video interview tool. More details will be shared when you are invited to interview.
  • An interview with the Senior Director of Operational Excellence and the Vice President of Commercial Operations. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the transformation strategy, the role’s priorities, and how you can make an impact.
  • An interview with the Senior Vice President of Operations to explore your leadership approach, operational mindset, and ability to drive sustainable change at scale. As part of this stage, you will also complete a DISC and personality assessment to help us understand your communication style and working preferences.
  • A panel interview with team members such as the Director of Project Management, the Director of Engineering, and a member of the HR team. This conversation will focus on collaboration, problem-solving, and alignment with Array’s culture and values.
  • A final in-person meeting with the Vice President of Commercial Operations and the Senior Vice President of Operations, followed by a plant tour and informal meet and greet.
