About the DevSavant

DevSavant is an operating partner for startups and growth-stage companies, helping them turn ambition into execution.

We support founders and leadership teams with product engineering and global staffing, from early prototypes and MVPs to scaling high-performing teams. Our vetted talent across LATAM and Asia embeds directly into client teams, operating as true extensions rather than external vendors.

With over 8 years working in venture-backed ecosystems, DevSavant is trusted to accelerate delivery, scale teams efficiently, and support companies as they reach their next milestone.

About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of data and analytics for the U.S. Subscription Economy. Their standardized metrics, competitive benchmarks, syndicated insights, and market intelligence help some of the most trusted brands across the media and entertainment industries better understand subscriber behavior and navigate the rapidly evolving subscription landscape.

Founded in 2019 by experienced leaders in data, media, and analytics, our client is backed by top-tier investors with deep expertise in technology and media. They are powered by a team of intellectually curious, service-oriented professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional value to clients while fostering a collaborative and supportive remote-first culture. As an early-stage, high-growth company, they offer the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and make a meaningful impact while growing professionally.

About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial Operations Analyst to take ownership of the day-to-day commercial, reporting, and partnerships operations that keep our business running. As a fast-growing B2B data analytics platform, you will partner directly with the VP of Finance to keep contracts moving, reporting accurate, and partnership pipelines on track — absorbing the operational load that currently sits with senior leadership and freeing up that bandwidth for higher-order work.

You will work cross-functionally with the sales team on CRM hygiene, with internal team leads on OKR reporting, and with the finance function on invoicing and collections. As you build context in the seat, you will shift from executing defined processes to designing the systems behind them, gaining broad exposure to how a scaling data business actually runs.

We care more about how you think and operate than where you've worked or how many years you've been working. Strong candidates may come from operations, finance, consulting, project management, executive support, paralegal work, or adjacent fields. If you've been the connective tissue on a team — the person who keeps the trains running — we want to hear from you.

Location & Setup

  • Reporting To: VP, Finance

  • Work Structure: Remote-first

  • Working Hours: Must be able to work during US business hours (preferably based in Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones).

What You’ll Do

  • Contract Management: Own the SOW and contract workflow end-to-end — drafting from templates, routing for signature, tracking execution, and filing executed documents.

  • CRM Hygiene: Manage HubSpot as the system of record, holding the sales team accountable to CRM hygiene and consistent activity logging.

  • Finance Support: Issue invoices on time, maintain vendor portals, track collections, and coordinate with finance on any discrepancies.

  • Performance Reporting: Produce recurring performance reports — actuals vs. goals, pipeline coverage, win/loss trends — and refresh quarterly forecast models with current pipeline data.

  • OKR Facilitation: Run the OKR reporting cadence: collect inputs from team leads, consolidate, and prepare for review.

  • Partnership Operations: Track the status of active and prospective data licensing partnerships, including next steps, key contacts, and deal terms; coordinate follow-ups and route partnership documents.

  • Proactive Problem Solving: Flag stalled deals, missing documentation, anomalies, and process gaps before they become problems.

Who You Are

  • Conscientiousness as a core craft: You treat follow-through, accuracy, and the small details as the work, not the housekeeping. You're the person on past teams who noticed the missing invoice, the stalled deal, or the data point that didn't add up.

  • Systems thinking: When you encounter a loose or undocumented process, your instinct is to convert it into something repeatable. You're energized by turning chaos into structure rather than working around it.

  • Diplomatic accountability: You're comfortable holding peers — including senior peers — to process and hygiene standards without creating friction. You bring a service mindset to internal stakeholders while protecting the integrity of the work.

  • Numerical fluency: You're at home in spreadsheets, comfortable building and maintaining simple models, and you read numbers with healthy skepticism. You don't need to be a data scientist, but you do need to spot when something looks off.

  • Comfort with ambiguity: You can take a loosely defined need and translate it into action. You ask good questions, make reasonable assumptions, and surface them rather than waiting for perfect direction.

  • Proactive communication: You flag delays, blockers, or missing inputs early. You'd rather over-communicate than leave a partner guessing.

  • Curiosity about how the business works: You want exposure to commercial, finance, and partnerships operations because you want to understand how a scaling business actually runs — not just execute tasks in isolation.

Bonus Points

  • Hands-on experience in a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)

  • Experience drafting, routing, or tracking contracts and SOWs

  • Experience building or maintaining forecast or pipeline reports

  • Direct experience supporting a finance, revenue, or commercial leader

  • Prior exposure to data, media, research, or B2B SaaS businesses
