JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Operations Specialist to join our Commercial Operations team. Reporting directly to the Commercial Operations Manager, the successful candidate will act as a key analytical and operational partner to our sales network. You will be responsible for transforming complex data into strategic insights, monitoring customer profitability, and supporting the manager in developing advanced tools to drive negotiations and commercial execution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performance & Profitability Analysis: Monitor commercial KPIs (Volumes, Value) and evaluating the impact of pricing levers and product mix.
- Business Report: Assist the Commercial Operations Manager in designing, updating, and optimizing calculation models and management dashboards (Joint Business Plan tools, quarterly Customer Plans) to equip the sales force with standardized, data-driven negotiation tools.
- Trade Investment Evaluation: Measure the effectiveness and calculate the ROI of promotional campaigns and commercial investments, providing data-backed recommendations and reporting to optimize budgets.
- Market & Trade Margin Monitoring: Analyze shelf positioning and consumer pricing dynamics to assess the Trade Margin of our distribution partners, providing quantitative evidence for upcoming contract renewals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Master’s Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
- Experience: 1 year of proven experience in Sales Analysis, Trade Marketing, or Sales, preferably within structured Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; the ability to synthesize complex data into strategic "actionable insights"; high level of accuracy, a result-oriented mindset, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with the team and the sales force.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Foods industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Italian is a plus.
