The Commercial Operations Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting commercial operations and reporting activities across the EMEA region. The role ensures accurate execution of operational, quote and pricing‑related processes in line with defined SOPs, maintaining high standards of data quality, compliance, and cross‑functional coordination.
The role works closely with Insights, Pricing, Tender & Contracts, Customer Services, Finance, and Sales teams to support reporting, master data management, contract and pricing execution, tender follow‑up, and issue resolution across multiple systems and markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with commercial team and master data for customer/distributor and contacts data
- coordinate supplier and customer account creation with master data, ensuring data accuracy and timely setup in relevant systems.
- Identify and support resolution of customer account duplicates, working with Insights and Operations stakeholders.
- Maintain and improve contact database quality through ongoing data cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities.
-Prepare and maintain regular commercial reporting and dashboards across EMEA
- Sales reports for customers, distributors and internal finance tender reporting.
- price discrepancy reports, supporting monitoring and escalation in line with defined processes.
- quarterly tender, contracts and rebates reporting, ensuring completeness and alignment with contract data.
- Provide operational support on ad‑hoc commercial reports and operations activities and projects
- Support the backoffice process related to quote and contract:
- Laise with Tender and contract team to ensure customer master data portal are up to date and customer requests related to documentation are sent timely
- Reimbursement follow‑up and credit note coordination in line with approved processes.
- Assist with price discrepancy follow‑up, including coordination with Sales teams.
- Provide pricing support related to obsolete items, product discontinuations, and credit notes, working with Customer Services, Marketing, and MDM teams.
- Manage contract and tender implementation
- Contract creation and maintenance in the contract management system
- Support in‑contract price increases, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and internal approvals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor /Master Degree in a related discipline with at least three years experience.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Any of the following languages would be an asset – French, German, Italian, Dutch
- Experience working within sales analytics, commercial operations, sales support, pricing or tender operations
- Experience supporting cross‑functional commercial processes (Insights, Pricing, Tender & Contracts, Finance, Customer Services)
- Proven experience in establishing successful key relationships with commercial teams in a multi‑country / EMEA environment
- Hands‑on experience with commercial systems and data, such as:
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) , Contract management tools (e.g. Model N) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
- Strong experience with Excel and structured reporting; exposure to Power BI or similar tools is an strong advantage
