The MDU (Multi-Dwelling Units) Account Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing MDU sales opportunities within an assigned territory. This role reports to the MDU Sales Manager and focuses on executing established MDU sales strategies, building long-term property relationships, and driving revenue growth through bulk and ROE agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute MDU sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue and penetrations goals within the assigned region
- Identify and prospect MDU owners, developers, property managers, and HOAs through outbound outreach, networking, and industry events
- Develop opportunities for multi-property and bulk service agreements with property management companies (PMCs)
- Lead day-to-day negotiations for bulk (amenity) services and Right-of-Entry (ROE) Agreements, partnering with the MDU Sales Manager and internal stakeholders, as needed
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with property managers, HOAs, building owners, and real estate developers
- Develop and deliver tailored proposals and business cases, including basic financial and ROI considerations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Engineering, Constructions, Operations) to support accurate scoping and successful deal execution
- Maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity updates, and activity tracking in Salesforce CRM
- Communicate sales activities, forecasts, and results as requested by Leadership
- Travel within assigned territory as required (approximately 25%+)
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in MDU, B2B, or commercial sales, preferably within telecom, broadband, or technology services
- Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close complex sales opportunities
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and highly organized
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and ability to use a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
