ROLE SUMMARY:
The Commercial Market Manager – Florida will lead PerfectDraft's expansion into Florida, a key strategic market. This role directly shapes our success by developing essential partnerships with wholesalers and retailers, optimizing distribution networks, and executing targeted marketing initiatives. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on market development, requiring both analytical skills and relationship building to achieve ambitious growth targets. We seek an accomplished professional who has delivered exceptional results in beverage alcohol distribution and understands the complexities of the three-tier system. Your ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies will be fundamental to our success in Florida.
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Lead Florida market expansion through strategic distribution planning, including development of key wholesaler partnerships and optimization of the supply chain network.
- Drive revenue growth by executing strategic retailer acquisition and management initiatives, focusing on expanding PerfectDraft's geographical footprint and delivery capabilities.
- Collaborate with the St. Louis brewery on inventory and supply planning to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing costs and preventing stockouts.
- Design and implement comprehensive trade marketing programs that maximize brand visibility and drive sales across retail channels, including management of promotional campaigns and events.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with wholesalers and retailers, including negotiating pricing structures and promotional programs while ensuring consistent brand execution.
- Monitor market performance metrics and gather intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities for the PerfectDraft portfolio.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial operations or sales management within the beverage alcohol industry, with demonstrated success in market development.
- Proven track record of building and managing distributor/wholesaler relationships within the three-tier system, particularly in Florida.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive strategic decision-making and achieve revenue targets.
- Demonstrated success in trade marketing and retail program development within regulated markets.
- Experience managing complex supply chain operations and inventory planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience launching or scaling beverage brands in the Florida market.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverage regulations and compliance requirements in Florida.
- Experience with e-commerce and direct-to-consumer beverage alcohol operations.
- Proven success in building and leading cross-functional partnerships.
- Experience with CRM systems and data analytics platforms.
