We are looking for Transformative Commercial Manager to join our team and play a critical role in safeguarding our financial interests, managing contractual obligations, and supporting project success across Australia.
About the Role
As a Commercial Manager, you will partner with operations teams to manage the financial and contractual aspects of our projects. You could be a Senior Contract Administrator with drive and ambition looking to set up. This is a transformative position, looking at driving change across the business.
You can be based at our Brisbane or Melbourne Office supporting the function across ANZ. You will be across all of the projects within this area.
Key Responsibilities
Protect KONE’s financial and commercial interests with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Review and negotiate contract terms, manage claims, and ensure compliance with obligations.
Support dispute resolution and project close-out activities.
Drive timely payments and mitigate bad debt risks.
Support tendering teams in preparing accurate, competitive bids.
Identify business opportunities through commercial insights.
Support project teams with day-to-day commercial issues.
What We’re Looking For
At least 7 years’ experience in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of project operations, financial processes, and contract management.
Experience across multiple projects at once required.
Advanced commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
Solid understanding of local laws and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
