Job Description- Lead the commercial performance and future growth of Qantas' Ground Products portfolio, with a strong focus on baggage products, ancillary revenue opportunities and customer-led innovation.

Shape the future of Qantas’ Ground Products portfolio. As Commercial Manager, Ground Products, you’ll lead the performance and growth of a portfolio spanning baggage, preflight products and new ancillary opportunities. A key focus of the role will be optimising and evolving our baggage offering, identifying new ways to enhance the customer experience while delivering strong commercial outcomes.
Working across Product, Operations, Digital, Marketing and Customer teams, you’ll develop business cases, bring new products to market and influence senior stakeholders to drive results. This role is ideal for a commercially minded leader who can turn ideas into action, navigate complexity and take teams on the journey. If you’re energised by solving commercial challenges, building customer-led products and finding opportunities for growth, this is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact across one of Qantas’ most dynamic portfolios.
You’ll have –
- 7+ years' experience in Product, Commercial or related roles.
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Business or a related field.
- Strong product strategy and commercial management experience.
- Proven ability to use customer insights and data to drive decisions.
- Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting, profitability and business case development.
- Experience managing suppliers, partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments and applying Human-Centred Design principles.
