Position Overview: The Commercial Lines Account Manager provides high-quality service to new and existing clients while managing and growing a commercial lines book of business. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, managing policy renewals and servicing needs, and identifying opportunities to expand coverage solutions that support client risk management goals while contributing to agency growth.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time hybrid position reporting to our office located in Savannah, GA.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering responsive, high-quality service and understanding evolving coverage needs
  • Manage new and renewal business, including evaluating risk exposures and placing appropriate commercial coverage in alignment with underwriting guidelines
  • Process endorsements, policy updates, and renewals while ensuring accuracy and timely execution of all account documentation
  • Review renewal and expiration activity and collaborate with internal teams to support effective renewal strategies and client retention
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, producers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and seamless service delivery
  • Identify cross-sell and account expansion opportunities, including umbrella, flood, business interruption, and other relevant coverages
  • Maintain accurate records within agency management systems and ensure compliance with internal processes and carrier requirements
  • Stay current on commercial insurance products, carrier guidelines, and industry best practices through ongoing training and development

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in insurance servicing, account management, or customer service
  • Active Georgia Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Experience in commercial lines insurance preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree in Business or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Strong client relationship management and consultative communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and policy management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining accountability
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards

Skills Required
