Responsibilities:
Develop a loan portfolio consisting of: Commercial loans Consumer land, bridge and construction loans
Promote Central Bank Mortgage to become a preferred lender with builder guidance lines
Represent Central Bank within the geographic area served
Work to increase revenue and market share within the Colorado geographic footprint.
Work in collaboration with the Colorado CEO and SVP
Job Duties:
Perform full range of duties pertaining to the credit function, including, but not limited to commercial loans and leases and consumer loans in support of overall Commercial Department objectives and in accordance with established lending policies and practices.
Develop and maintain a loan portfolio
Keep abreast of new developments and trends in the commercial loan market; identify potential lending opportunities and participate in the development and implementation of plans and programs to respond to these opportunities.
Work with local loan operations staff and develop efficiencies in this department
Participate in the establishment of commercial lending goals and profitability objectives and in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to assure the achievement of those goals; recommend new policies or policy revisions as necessary to improve efficiency and control. Recommend personnel changes and additions.
Cross-sell “Banking” operations, deposit gathering and wealth management opportunities.
Work in concert with Central Bank Department’s to implement local marketing strategies to include marketing, community involvement, and Bank Central reputation and image.

This position starts at $69,336 a year and can increase from there depending on experience.
Six-year commercial bank lending experience. Knowledge of bank and lending procedures and policies.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or business).
Strong customer service and relations skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills as evidenced by the ability to interact both face-to-face and over the telephone with customers and co-workers.
Demonstrated ability to use tact, diplomacy, and a professional personal appearance, when dealing with customers and co-workers.
Good math skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
Prior leadership experience, particularly in a financial service.
Negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
Analytical (statistical), organizational, time management, and problem-solving ability.
Good written communication skills. Good proof reading and editing skills.
Experience with the local financial marketplace (competitors, demographics, geography, industries, etc.).
