The Commercial Leader, Thailand for Leica Biosystems (LBS) is responsible for driving significant revenue and profit growth through effective management of sales & applications activities in Thailand. S/he is expected to meet or exceed revenue goals by executing sales initiatives in alignment with regional marketing strategy.
This position is part of the Sales Team located in Thailand and will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
You will be a part of the Commercial Sales Team and report to the General Manager, Diagnostics, Thailand responsible for delivering the country revenue target and to meet the company financial goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and achieve the total sales and margin targets for LBS Thailand cross all Leica Biosystems product groups for revenue and market share growth.
- Achieve Operational excellence by driving rigor in direct team (Account managers, Product Specialist, Field Application), dealer networks (scheduled reporting, sales, technical and service capabilities of Channel Partners) and ensure sustainment.
- Drive market leads and convert them to sales opportunities, partnering with regional marketing leads to develop sufficient funnel and managing quality funnel and hygiene Develop & execute LBS strategy in-country in partnership with service, marketing / commercial operation/ product management team.
- Identify KOL (Key Opinion Leader)s for each market and manage relationships to drive commercial opportunities and pricing in order to enhance LBS’s position in the market.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in science/business
- Minimum of 8 years of escalating experience in sales, distributor management, sales management, and/or marketing roles in Southeast Asia.
- Experience in regional healthcare environment desired; demonstrated track record building relationships with distributors and partners.
- Strong communication skills in English Proven leadership skills; strong leadership style that creates a team environment to achieve results and strong business acumen
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Proven ability to ‘system’ and ‘circular’ sell within accounts
- Proven track records of business and market share growth
- Solid understanding on selling medical capital equipment and consumables
- Demonstrated functional experience in areas such as strategic selling
