The Commercial Leader will be responsible for leading Cepheid Business in Thailand while focusing on the private sector and defining strategy and building a strong cross functional Team. The role will be both strategic and tactical, to include but not limited to: Market Segmentation, Strategy , contract and price negotiations, contract addendums, compliance, Team development and build Cepheid/ Danaher Brand while fostering of positive working relationships between cross functional team at Cepheid and Danaher.

Specific duties include but not limited to:

  • Define Market Segmentation, market assessment and visibility
  • Define and execute Strategic vision for the country and for the Team
  • Ensure the business within the assigned territory is managed and done in a compliant way and any deviation observed should be reported
  • Work with cepheid team to manage and grow Cepheid business in all healthcare markets including, but not limited to, regional and local reference laboratories, large multi-specialty clinics, women’s clinics, other physician office laboratories, community healthcare clinics, college and university student health centers, long term care facilities, STD clinics, urgent care/walk-in clinics, jails and prisons, public health laboratories, hospitals and free standing emergency departments.
  • Manage forecasting, pricing, and contract negotiations.
  • Working closely with various cross functions like service, support, operations, Finance

The essential requirements of the job include: 

  • The successful candidate must have a minimum 12 years of sales management and/ or marketing experience, managing a team and worked in Direct Market
  • Experience in healthcare industry required and in in-vitro diagnostics or medical devices field preferred
  • The candidate needs to be proficient in spoken and written English, other regional languages will be a plus
  • The position will be based out of Bangkok, Thailand
  • She / he must be a self-starter, intellectually agile, organized, possess and entrepreneurial spirit, and be able to capture the imagination of others to achieve their goals.
