POSITION SUMMARY
The Commercial Intern will be supporting the day-to-day commercial operations at the corporate office. This position is designed to gain industry specific knowledge of commercial, crude oil supply, marketing, by providing support for the Commercial division.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- College students studying Finance, Accounting, Economics, Energy or business who are in their Junior or Senior Year at an accredited College or University.
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and presentation skills.
- Displays soft skills effectively and promotes teamwork.
- Out of the box thinking, problem solving, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Previous internships / work and/or coursework experience with Commercial, Finance, Accounting or general business.
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
During the course of the internship, the intern will participate in the following:
- The intern will primarily aid in developing and assisting with commercial processes.
- The intern will be exposed to the whole organization, business processes and corporate projects.
