Description

Build Relationships. Create Opportunities. Build a Career.

We’re growing our Business Development team and looking for three Commercial Insurance Producers to join Bender Insurance Solutions.

At Bender, our Producers do more than sell insurance. They build relationships, create opportunities, and become trusted advisors to the businesses they serve. You’ll develop new Commercial Lines business, build and manage your pipeline, grow your professional network, and build a meaningful book of business over time.

And you won’t be expected to build it alone. As part of our next Producer development cohort, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside fellow Producers while receiving individualized coaching, guidance, and support from experienced Account Managers, Marketing, leadership, and carrier partners. Together, we'll help you develop your skills, build your pipeline, and grow your book of business.

What You’ll Do

As a Commercial Insurance Producer, you’ll:

  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospective Commercial Lines clients.
  • Develop relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers to understand their businesses, priorities, risks, and goals.
  • Create new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, professional relationships, industry involvement, and community engagement.
  • Lead prospect conversations, ask thoughtful questions, identify needs, present insurance and risk-management solutions, and ask for the business.
  • Develop and execute an annual business development, association, and marketing plan.
  • Partner with Account Managers and other Bender team members to develop submissions, evaluate market options, and deliver strong solutions for clients.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen clients’ insurance and risk-management programs as their businesses grow and change.
  • Build your professional network and represent Bender through industry associations, organizations, events, and community involvement.
  • Develop a professional presence in your market using Bender’s marketing resources and social media.
  • Stay connected with clients beyond the initial placement and partner with the service team during important renewals, claims, coverage discussions, and other key client moments.
  • Maintain consistent pipeline activity, documentation, and follow-through in Bender’s agency management and CRM systems.
  • Continue building your Commercial Lines insurance, business development, and relationship-management knowledge through ongoing learning and professional development.

Why Bender?

Building a successful book of business takes time, discipline, relationships, persistence, and the right team behind you.

At Bender, you’ll have the opportunity to build your career alongside experienced insurance professionals while being supported by Account Management, Marketing, leadership, carrier partners, and a broader team invested in your success.

We’re also 100% employee-owned, which means our employees have the opportunity to share in the value we create together.

We’re not simply hiring for where Bender is today. We’re building the team that will help shape where we go next. If you’re motivated by relationships, growth, learning, and the opportunity to build something meaningful over time, we’d like to meet you.
