The Commercial Insights Analyst Internship offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated student to gain hands-on experience in the field of commercial analytics. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced Commercial leaders to support the development and delivery of data-driven insights that inform key business decisions. This internship will provide you with valuable skills in data analysis, market research, and business strategy within the Art Storage & Logistics environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preparation of commercial data from various sources (e.g., sales databases, market research reports, CRM systems, web analytics).

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in commercial performance.

  • Support the development of regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate insights to stakeholders.

  • Assist in the execution of market research projects, including survey design, data collection, and analysis.

  • Contribute to the analysis of competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Help to translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations for commercial teams (e.g., Account Management, Sales, & Marketing).

  • Support the development of data visualizations and presentations to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business questions and identify data needs.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of analytical frameworks and methodologies.

  • Maintain documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes.

  • Undertake ad-hoc analytical projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data manipulation, formulas, charting).  

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.

  • Experience with database query languages (e.g., SQL) is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive and curious mindset with a strong desire to learn.
