Job Description:

Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Commercial Head, South Asia.

The incumbent is responsible for delivering profitable growth in South Asia by managing the sales team and coordinating multi-functional resources across different countries that are in alignment with HPP Global strategy.

This a position will be based in Singapore.

As a Commercial Head, South Asia, you will: 

Develop new business growth plans and sales strategies to expand market share, develop new account, generate additional sales revenues, and improve profitability for the South Asia, which includes Southeast Asia and India Subcontinent

Lead commercial team to deliver business results, drive growth by developing and aligning on future year growth plan

Develop sales plans that are consistent with divisional direction and objectives;

Achieve sales targets and monitor cost effectiveness of sales activities to optimize resource and prioritize spending

Develop a high-performance team through effective leadership that includes setting clear objectives, tracking results, and providing ongoing coaching support and feedback

Develop distributor strategy to grow sales and enhance stronger relationship with distributors

Serve on the APAC Leadership Team(APLT)

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience. BSc. Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred

Ability to communicate and interact effectively both internal (globally) and external

Ability to develop high level Customer & Distributor relationships

Ability to identify and address critical issues which impact the sales strategy execution

Ability to Manage, Develop & Coach South Asia Commercial team

Excellent presentation, negotiation and influencing skills

Fluent spoken/written English and mandarin is preferred

Competencies: Achievement Orientation, Adaptability, Decision Making, Managing Vision, Develop Others, Resource Utilization and Team Effectiveness
