An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Growth Leader to join Marsh, based in Brisbane.
As the Commercial Growth Leader for Marsh Pacific, this role will be responsible for accelerating the commercial enablement agendas of Marsh Risk and Mercer, driving engagement of sales and client-facing teams, and promoting collaboration across Marsh.
The Commercial Growth Leader will work closely with the Marsh Chief Commercial Officer, the Marsh Risk and Mercer Sales Leaders as well as the Pacific Commercial Centre of Excellence to drive and enable key commercial objectives.
This role will also:
- Lead the transformation of the Pacific Commercial Centre of Excellence (CoE)
- Act as a leader in region to activate commercial growth strategies across key clients, segments and elements of our regional strategy
- Drive growth at the intersections of Marsh trough purposeful collaboration
- Support operationalising the client retention framework focused on reducing the lost for cause rate in region.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
- Proven success as a senior level leader and business advisor working with clients and/or client teams, demonstrating proactive relationship-building and revenue growth through networking and strategic analysis and insight.
- Demonstrated global and enterprise-wide thinking, focusing on bringing the best of Marsh to clients, regardless of practice, geography or business lines.
- Proven track record of driving collaboration activities across Marsh and an understanding of products and services at Marsh Risk, Mercer, MMB, Guy Carpenter and Oliver Wyman.
- Experience representing Marsh in client meetings, and both internal and external events, webinars, roundtables and panel discussions, leveraging Marsh Thought Leadership (Global Risks Report, Global Talent Trends, People Risk Report, Health on Demand etc).
- Strong commercial skills and growth orientated mind-set demonstrating ability to establish creative solutions that reflect a clear understanding of the strategic commercial priorities at Marsh Pacific.
- Comfort with navigating ambiguity and change, demonstrating resilience when overcoming obstacles, influencing effectively across Marsh McLennan, both regionally and globally
- Ability to effectively collaborate with, navigate and manage internal stakeholders across Marsh McLennan Pacific.
- Exhibit a growth mindset as evidenced by a practitioner leader model of behaviour and inclusive working style.
- Demonstrated strong team leadership and growth management skills.
- Degree or equivalent (or relevant experience in a similar role).
