At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEM’s in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery

Our trainee programme as a "Commercial Graduate Specialist" is your career start in an internationally successful company. In 18-24 months, you will pass through specialist departments in our plant in Glenrothes and abroad that are individually tailored to you.  

What will you be doing?

• To acquire an in-depth insight and understanding of the Financial Controlling, Supply Chain and Human Resources function within Bosch Rexroth with the possibility of being placed in various areas finance, Supply Chain / Purchasing and Human Resources  
• To provide support to the Commercial team, including Commercial, Business Intelligence & CRM, Supply Chain, Human Resources and Customer Service
• Undertaking technical and project tasks along with operational and strategic responsibilities.
• Providing commercial support and administration to projects and/or contracts, including change control management, monitoring performance of its contractual obligations and management of commercial risk
• Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers to deliver the value to the company
• Together with us, you will gain experience of our diverse product and service portfolio and get to know the commercial side of our business as well as our internal development processes.
• Supporting continuous improvement of processes, offering fresh perspective and drawing on your academic knowledge
• Take accountability for specific projects and their successful delivery
• Supporting HR-related issues at the site level, including disciplinary matters when required
• Supporting Supply Chain function with project work
• Supporting Financial Controlling function with forecasting, planning and reporting

What are we looking for?
In the Graduate Specialist Programme (GSP), you are in good hands as a technical ace with a good feel for current market developments. You can combine your passion for industrial technology and your understanding of market economics.

• Education: Master’s degree in business, supply chain or related
• A rising star looking for a fulfilling career with commercial potential
• Software and IT knowledge: Preferably experience or knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system, Conversant in Microsoft office products.
• Has the ability to build effective and strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues, customers and suppliers
• Is proactive, tenacious, results driven
• Experience and know-how: Challenging industrial internships or initial work experience in a technical environment.
• Soft skills: Excellent communication skills, high level of self-motivation and commitment, enjoys contact with customers and suppliers, enjoys new ideas, goal and result orientated and a team player.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel at home and abroad
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Computer literate, with sound knowledge of Microsoft packages especially excel
