About this role
As the Commercial Finance Manager (CFM) for Diageo Philippines, you will serve as the primary finance business partner to the Commercial (Sales), Marketing, and Route-to-Market (RTM) teams. Operating as a Dynamic Value Creator, you will bring data-led financial insights to optimise trade spend, shape pricing strategies, and optimise Net Sales Value (NSV) and Gross Profit across key channels (Modern Trade, On-Premise etc.).
You will be responsible for:
Commercial Business Partnering: Partner closely with Commercial Director and commercial team to challenge and evaluate growth strategies across channels, key accounts, and distributors in the Philippines market.
Performance Management & S&OP: Lead the financial input for Philippines monthly performance management and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) cycles. Track performance, identify financial risks and opportunities, and develop proactive actions to manage our future trajectory.
Trade Investment & A&P Optimisation: Drive rigorous Pre- and Post-Measurement & Evaluation (M&E) for trade promotions, distributor allowances, and Advertising & Promotion (A&P) spend to maximise ROI.
Pricing & Value Chain Strategy: Maintain comprehensive value-chain analysis (RTM cost-to-serve, distributor margins, and excise tax impacts in the Philippines) to optimise operating profit.
Governance & Commercial Control: Oversee commercial credit risk, customer terms, and efficiency management (managing slow-moving inventory, allocations, and trade investment compliance). Finance officer for Diageo Philippines (DPI).
The required qualifications for this role are:
Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in Finance, with at least 3+ years in Commercial Finance / Business Partnering roles within FMCG, Alcobev, or Multinational Consumer Goods.
Technical Skills: Advanced financial modelling, P&L management, and trade investment analytics. Proficiency in Power BI, SAP, or enterprise ERPs preferred.
Local Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Philippine FMCG landscape, distributor mechanics, and tax/excise environments.
