The Role:
As a Commercial Finance Manager, you'll be a trusted business partner, providing strategic financial insight and commercial advice that drives better decision-making across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll help shape financial performance through robust analysis, planning, forecasting and commercial modelling, while identifying opportunities to optimise performance, manage risk and support long-term business growth.


Key outcomes the role will own:

  • Partner with business leaders to provide commercial insights that influence strategic and operational decisions.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities, ensuring accurate and meaningful financial outcomes.
  • Develop robust financial models, business cases and investment appraisals to support key initiatives and strategic investments.
  • Deliver insightful financial reporting and performance analysis, identifying risks, opportunities and actionable recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying cost optimisation opportunities and enhancing financial processes and controls.
  • Ensure strong financial governance through effective accounting practices, compliance and internal controls.
  • Support benefits realisation and commercial performance tracking across strategic projects and business initiatives.
  • Build trusted relationships across the business, providing expert financial advice that enables informed decision-making.

Required experience to be successful in the role:
We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with the business and influencing decisions through data-driven insights. You'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partner role within a complex organisation.
  • Experience within financial services, payments or technology environments will be highly regarded.
  • Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capability, with the ability to translate data into commercial insights.
  • Experience developing business cases, investment appraisals and cost-benefit analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Sound understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, governance and internal controls.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders, providing trusted financial advice and influencing commercial outcomes.
  • Experience identifying opportunities to improve financial performance, operational efficiency and cost management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance commercial outcomes, financial risk and strategic priorities.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
