Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Commercial Leadership & Governance

  • Commercial Pipeline Oversight: Provide end-to-end financial leadership for the Americas commercial pipeline, including LTSA, transactional sales, parts, repairs, and upgrade programs.
  • Deal Governance & Strategy: Act as a gatekeeper for Delegation of Authority (DOA), ensuring all deal structures remain competitive, aligned with global strategy, and meet segment-wide profitability and risk thresholds.
  • Complex Modeling & Advisory: Lead the development of sophisticated financial models (FX strategies, tax/billing, and cross-border risk) and provide expert counsel to the GM and leadership on market positioning, pricing, and geopolitical/economic risks.
  • Value Articulation: Partner with commercial teams to effectively articulate the value proposition of service offerings, upgrades, and market dynamics to internal and external stakeholders.

Operational Excellence & Process Optimization

  • ITO (Inquiry-to-Order) Management: Lead and simplify ITO processes, ensuring robust underwriting standards and efficient risk/return frameworks for all commercial actions.

  • Operational Rhythm & Reporting: Define and execute a rigorous operating rhythm (including MOR, Hoshin, and Bowler processes). Oversee budgeting, operating plans, and the creation of KPIs and leading indicators to track performance.
  • System & Process Automation: Partner with IT and operational leadership to drive automation, process optimization, and the evolution of systems used for reporting and performance analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between Commercial, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to validate cost assumptions (e.g., inflation, labor, and hardware needs) and ensure alignment on resource requirements.

Performance Analytics & Influence

  • Business Performance Analytics: Drive data-driven improvements by identifying financial trends, highlighting risks and opportunities, and recommending actionable strategies to maximize cash, profitability, and fleet risk management.
  • Team Leadership & Communication: Manage centralized reporting and productivity metrics. Influence stakeholders at all organizational levels by communicating complex financial concepts clearly to drive commercial intensity and business success.

Required Qualifications

  • For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university in either Finance or Accounting with at least 10 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
  • For roles outside of the USA - This role requires significant experience in Finance & Commercial Finance Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $124,900.00 and $208,100.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.

Skills Required

  • Master's degree in Finance or Accounting (required for USA roles)
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in finance/commercial finance
  • Significant experience in Finance and Commercial Finance Management (non-US roles: equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex financial modeling (FX, tax/billing, cross-border risk)
  • Ability to act as deal gatekeeper for Delegation of Authority and enforce underwriting standards
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States for U.S.-based positions
  • Ability to pass a drug screen (where applicable)
  • Experience with automation, reporting systems, and data-driven commercial analytics
  • Experience structuring complex, high-value cross-jurisdictional deals and influencing senior stakeholders
