We have a fabulous learning opportunity within the Gulf & Exports Commercial Finance team based in Dubai.
The primary purpose of this opportunity is to support enhancing pricing strategies, maintain accurate pricing data, and support financial analysis and reporting. This involves obtaining pricing approvals, conducting regular pricing reviews, and analyzing costs to evaluate variances and ensure accurate profitability reporting. Additionally, you will be providing crucial support for forecasting, data analysis, and tool enhancements, aiding commercial finance managers and contributing to overall financial efficiency and accuracy. Advanced Excel is essential for effective learning and performance in this role.
What You'll Do:

  • Obtain necessary approvals to execute pricing update in the system & managing the discount list by customer.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely and precise implementation of pricing changes.
  • Documenting & maintaining records of any pricing update in our repository.
  • Routine Price review to ensure adherence of pricing in the system and maintain records for internal audit.
  • Share the Monthly order accuracy report with the relevant team & ensure all necessary changes are implemented.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits to validate pricing data and processes.
  • Support Commercial leads in investigating any pr pricing related queries, amendments & order refresh.
  • Perform detailed analysis of Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) and Value Chain Cost (VLC).
  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of variances in Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) and Variable logistics cost (VLC).
  • Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting variances, root causes, and insights for decision-making.
  • Support in running scenarios to capture financial projections and landing with expected cost implications.
  • Manage the consolidation of COGS & VLC for updating Value chain management.
  • Generate report underlying the key changes on cluster profitability with the updated financials.
  • Assist in consolidating and reporting weekly forecasts to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and reliability of forecasted data.
  • Provide data analysis support to commercial finance managers across different clusters or business units.
  • Collaborate on projects to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for financial analysis, reporting, and insights.
  • Generate customized reports to address specific business inquiries or decision-making needs.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, or any professional certification, is a plus.
  • Understand advanced Excel functionality for financial modeling, analysis & reporting, E.g., Power Querry and Macro.
  • Expertise in Data modeling tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and adhere to reporting periods
  • Curiosity, ownership and willingness to learn
