Job Description
The Kraft Heinz Company is looking for Commercial finance BP who will have the overall responsibility for the commercial financial planning and controlling. This role provides insightful and value adding analysis and recommendations to the CFM, CFO and the Managing Director. As a key member of the finance function, to drive commercial financial forecasting and controlling.
Key Responsibilities:
• key business partner to the sales and marketing functions.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams on applying the commercial strategy in line with the company strategic plan and monitor the sales performance to drive performance excellence.
• Coordinate with the Financial Control to ensure completeness of all D&A and distributors' costs accruals.
• Partner with the sales teams in planning smart tactics to support delivering the monthly revenue & trade spend targets and enhance the channels' profitability.
o Analysing the Performance of sales channels / Distributor from all commercial perspectives (Trade spend- S&D - CTS %) and compare it with AOP/ forecast.
o Preparing MPR reporting package with Channels performance periodically.
o Analyse RTM assets/tools utilization.
o Analyse RTM CTS% through business cases financial evaluation.
o Prepare the period close pack for commercial aspects of the company for all relevant stakeholders:
§ P&L by channel (WS,MT,MM & Retail) and channel profitability
§ Sales Building blocks follow through
§ CTS by channel (TT, FS, MT - Dist. Channel vs. direct sales)
§ CTS by Distributors
• Preparation for the D&A quarter and annual budgets.
• Ownership on delivering the NSV & CMA by monitoring the sales performance, Support in setting the quarterly & monthly sales-in and sales-out targets, liaise with the plant finance manager on the RPM, Manufacturing, and logistics costs, and populate the CMA by SKU.
• Trade Promo pre and post evaluation to decide the on-going promos or delist the low profitable promos.
• Provide full support to the Marketing and Sales in capturing and evaluating the productivity initiatives, track spend vs. budget and forecast to maximize the ROI:
o Participate in evaluating the distributors' contracts and incentives and ensure they are in line with the targets.
o Assess the planned promotions and trade spending ROI by conducting the pre & post assessment of the D&A spending by channel and provide the analysis and recommendation based on the volume and revenue performance.
o Analyze the direct materials inflation and FOREX impacts, track and analyze all types of costing variances (Purchase Price Variance, material usage, volume & mix), understand the root cause of the deviation vs. plan/forecast/PY and raise the relevant insights.
o Prepare the profitability analysis by SKU/Channel and provide the root cause of the deviation vs. plan and PY.
o Calculating sales team commission based on the set targets and factoring in supply drops impact and overall mix profitability
• Ensure timely, complete and accurate reporting and financial forecast.
• Ensure compliance of accounting, internal control rules and manage internal audits.
• Showing strong ownership of the results and clear understanding of the drivers and focus needed.
Qualifications
Hard Skills
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Work Experience: 5-7 years in Accounting and Finance in FMCGs
• Language Knowledge: Fluent in English
