You will be an end-to-end business partner, providing financial analysis and commercial decision support to our New Zealand Sales team. You will work with the Customer Lead Team to drive market leading performance, while collaborating with Category Revenue and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) teams to support integrated business planning and optimization projects.
In this role, you will constructively challenge forecast assumptions and work alongside business stakeholders to deliver business objectives. You enjoy converting data into actionable insights, supporting effective decision making by key stakeholders. What sets you apart is your ability to see the trends behind the numbers, produce insights, identify business opportunities, and add value through your analysis and influence.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Execute aspects of planning and performance management to influence commercial decision making, including monthly forecasting, performance analysis, financial modelling, and decision support.
- Provide clarity on progress to Customer Leads across financial KPIs, driving accountability to ensure delivery of NZ business targets.
- Contribute to portfolio and ROI reviews to drive optimisation of trade spend programs and unlock margin improvement.
- Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers.
- Support projects to drive efficiencies and improvements to ways of working by embracing a continuous improvement mindset.
- Contribute to a strong governance framework and ensure full compliance with our policies.
- Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
- TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial planning and performance management including data collection / structuring, analysis, and performance reporting.
- BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business, the consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market dynamics.
- LEADERSHIP SKILLS including experience with business partnering, influencing and communication skills across a large, complex organization.
- INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values, policies and external regulations.
- Experience working in fast paced, commercial environments (FMCG experience preferred).
- Knowledge of Power BI and SAP is preferable.
