Job Description

Provide commercial finance analytical support to the Liquid segment within Amcor Flexibles North America (AFNA). High visibility role with direct working relationships with Commercial VP and Sales and Marketing Directors. Candidate will have the opportunity to display analytical proficiency, commercial acumen and influencing skills in a high-focus segment for AFNA.

YOUR ROLE IN UNPACKING POSSIBILITIES

  • Lead business profitability deep dives of internally challenged business in collaboration with the sites and commercial teams and make recommendations to improve margins
  • Support the Sales Directors and BU leadership in understanding commercial performance (volume, mix and organic sales growth) on a regular basis
  • Develop reporting to enhance understanding of account and territory performance, including tracking vs incentive targets
  • Support the Protein Finance and Commercial teams for Sales Annual Operating Plan (budget) and Sales Incentive Plan processes
  • Conduct assessment of historical financial performance of major accounts vs contract commitments
  • Provide input to the Marketing team as the “voice of Finance” in deal analysis, proforma preparation and deal structuring including combined equipment and packaging deals
  • Support commercial teams in preparation of financial data as part of internal or external presentations

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Nice to have: Knowledge of flexible packaging industry ‘what we do’ including systems, processes, and costs

  • A four-year college degree is required with an emphasis on business administration, finance, or engineering preferred
  • Travel ~10% (up to 25% in the first 6 months of onboarding)
  • 5+ years of Amcor experience or 5+ years Financial analytics experience

Skills Required

  • Four-year college degree (business administration, finance, or engineering preferred)
