The RoleWe are looking for a Finance Business Analyst to support FT Specialist EU financial operations. This role will work closely with finance and business teams to ensure accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and process improvements across revenue and cost management.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial results, reporting, and analysis
Perform accurate month-end processing of FT Specialist EU revenues and costs, with variance analysis
Reconcile balance sheet accounts with high standards of accuracy and record-keeping
Liaise with internal stakeholders to process sales commissions
Build strong business knowledge and stakeholder relationships
Support preparation of quarterly forecasts for revenue and costs
Contribute to process improvements and identify automation opportunities
Assist with external audits by providing documentation and analysis
Carry out ad hoc tasks aligned with business and finance needs
Skilled in financial analysis and modelling, with advanced Excel proficiency
Strong understanding of how financial outcomes relate to business drivers
Effective communicator, confident in sharing insights with varied stakeholders
Knowledge of IFRS15 and revenue recognition for new/modified contracts
Organised, with a methodical approach and ability to manage competing deadlines
Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset
Experience in FP&A, management accounting, or commercial finance
Progress toward ACCA or CIMA qualification
Background in media or B2B subscription businesses
Familiarity with Oracle, Essbase, and Google Sheets
