Duties and Responsibilities
As a key member of the Commercial Finance team, you will support our Medical business units by providing financial analysis and strategic insights. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to Sales, Division Leaders, and Manufacturing Sites—helping to align financial performance with business goals. This role will also act as a liaison between the corporate office and the geographically dispersed sales team, as well as the 18 manufacturing sites, particularly in relation to sales performance, material cost tracking, and commercial decisions.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic finance partner to Sales and Division Leaders, delivering insights that influence commercial decisions.
- Collaborate with IT to develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, system integration, and alignment with evolving business requirements.
- Develop and maintain robust reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, and Salesforce to track sales performance, material costs, and pipeline health.
- Lead efforts to automate and streamline reporting processes, working with IT to implement scalable solutions that improve efficiency and data reliability.
- Collaborate across functions, including Sales, Operations, and Corporate Finance—to validate data and ensure alignment on key metrics.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Key Skills and Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a finance or business analysis role, preferably in a matrixed or manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.
- Experience working with IT teams to manage data systems and reporting tools, particularly Power BI.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and influence across teams.
- Proactive mindset with a passion for solving problems and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience with Power BI and Salesforce, or a demonstrated ability to learn new tools independently.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
