POSITION SUMMARY:
Commercial Excellence Analyst supports the development of strong commercial capabilities across customer data, sales structures, pricing support, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) utilization. Responsible for improving the quality, consistency, and usability of data across the front end of the business. Collaborated with the Data Governance Manager, Pricing Manager, Sales, and Marketing teams to build processes, improve reporting, and drive disciplined use of commercial systems. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is analytical, detail oriented, and interested in how data and processes enable sales performance and customer growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer and Commercial Data Management- Support the maintenance and improvement of customer master data including account hierarchies, segmentation, and classifications.
- Assist in managing sales territory alignment and sales structure updates within the CRM.
- Ensure consistency between CRM, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), and other commercial systems.
- Maintain and update data within the CRM including accounts, contacts, opportunities, and key commercial fields.
- Support pipeline hygiene and ensure data completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in enforcing standard workflows for pricing requests, approvals, and sales processes.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards related to sales performance, customer segmentation, territory coverage, and pipeline health.
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in sales performance and customer engagement.

• Support forecasting and performance tracking by validating underlying data.
Pricing and Commercial Support- Provide analytical support to the Pricing Manager including data preparation, margin analysis, and reporting.
- Assist with tracking pricing actions and ensuring alignment with CRM and commercial systems.
- Support documentation and tracking of pricing processes and approvals.
- Assist in documenting commercial processes including customer data management, CRM workflows, and territory management.
- Support the creation of training materials and user guides for Sales and Commercial teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and system adoption.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Customer Service, and Finance teams.
- Support ongoing Commercial Excellence initiatives and projects.
- Assist in driving adoption of data standards and consistent commercial processes.
Must be able to perform the essential functions with or without accommodations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years’ experience in analytics, sales operations, or commercial support is required.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to manage complex projects and ensure timely execution.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience working in industrial, chemical, manufacturing or B2B (Business-to-Business) environments.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related discipline.
