Location: Lakeland, FL (In-office position)
About the Role:
Are you an experienced commercial examiner with Florida experience looking to make your next career move? We’re seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious individual to join our team as a Commercial Title Examiner. This person will also handle some residential files.
What You’ll Do:
- Examine commercial title records and issue title commitments and Owner & Encumbrance reports
- Conduct legal research on property tax records, bankruptcies, liens, and judgments
- Collaborate with underwriting to resolve title objections and obtain necessary approvals
- Work closely with clients, addressing inquiries and guiding them through title-related issues
- Review closing documents to ensure compliance with title requirements

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- An excellent communicator, both in writing and over the phone
- Polite, professional, and client-facing, with strong interpersonal skills
- Someone who thrives in a structured, in-office environment and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
