The Developer Sales Support Associate is responsible and accountable for:
- Generating and processing new sales leads as required.
- Reviewing project documents, plans, and specifications to assist and/or create cost estimates for developer projects and communicating those estimates to general contractors.
- Assisting in the follow-up and tracking of bids and project opportunities.
- Processing the “selling” of the estimates once projects are sold.
- Obtaining special quotes from manufactures to optimize the teams’ profit margin.
- Assisting the developer sales team in achieving sales and profit margin goals.
- Visit construction projects in various stages for the opportunity to obtain pre-bid information, field dimensions, door/frame/hardware information, and consult with customers on various requirements.
- Answering phone calls/emails from general contractors and deal with issues as they arise.
- Developing and maintaining resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, and government requirements.
- Assisting in the creation and management of small and expedited projects.
- Attending departmental meetings.
- Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Able to successfully estimate and close sales.
- Knowledgeable in product offerings.
- Professional communication through phone, email, and writing.
- Great customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other sales systems as needed.
- Experience with the commercial door and hardware industry is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comsense software skills preferred but not required
- Microsoft Office software skills required
- Prior experience with sales, a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university is preferred but not required.
Salary and Benefits:

- $50K- $70K salary based on experience
