bbf: is expanding its internal team and currently seeking a Commercial Director.

This role provides strategic oversight and cross-functional leadership and ensures that Sales, Marketing, Commercial Real Estate Operations, and International Business Development align with the company’s long-term development pipeline, commercial strategy, and market expansion goals. Working closely with functional Directors, the role supports organizational growth, operational excellence, and strong people leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Sales:

  • Provide strategic direction across all sales channels related to residential and commercial real estate development.
  • Ensure alignment of sales activities executed by Sales Director with project timelines, unit release strategies, and revenue plans.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, absorption rates, and sales performance analytics.

Marketing:

  • Lead high-level marketing strategy to support project launches, brand positioning, and market differentiation.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to ensure integrated campaigns (digital, offline, PR, events) support sales goals and project milestones.
  • Oversee research initiatives, including competitive market analyses and customer insights.

Commercial Real Estate Operations:

  • Provide strategic direction for commercial assets within the development portfolio.
  • Partner with the Commercial Real Estate Director to optimize leasing, tenant mix, occupancy, and commercial performance.
  • Support decisions related to asset positioning, space planning, and long-term property value maximization.

Business Development (International Agent Network):

  • Define and execute strategic priorities for international market expansion and global partnership development.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Director to grow and manage relationships with international real estate agencies and brokers.
  • Identify new international markets, coordinate cross-border sales initiatives, and support project promotion globally.

Leadership & People Management:

  • Lead and inspire multi-functional teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and high performance across departments.
  • Provide guidance to Directors in building talent pipelines, developing teams, and improving organizational effectiveness.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture consistent with the company’s mission and values.

Requirements:

Experience & Expertise

  • Proven senior leadership experience within a real estate development or property management company.
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial development cycles, sales processes, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Real Estate Operations at the Director level.
  • Background in international sales, partnerships, or brokerage networks is an advantage.

Skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans.
  • Deep commercial acumen with the ability to analyze real estate performance metrics, sales data, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong project management and prioritization capabilities.
  • Fluency in English

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or related) is a plus.
