Commercial Director, Hospitality (Accommodation) – Operations

Access Group’s Accommodation division is home to a scalable cloud-based business management suite featuring 20+ integrated software solutions designed specifically for hotels, resorts and other accommodation players.

We are looking for a Commercial Leader to lead the Operations business globally across Property Management System, Payments and Conference and Banqueting.

You will be responsible for determining the overall proposition and product vision globally leading a cross functional squad to delivery against this strategy to grow revenues and drive contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing cross functional team

  • Determine the commercial product roadmaps & catalyse the broader commercial teams to adopt AI into their product thinking

Strategy:

  • Set out the divisional strategy for Accommodation, including:

    • budgeting,

    • objective setting,

    • product roadmap

    • own and drive the GTM processes & support and drive the commercial teams

    • define the AI product strategy

Go-To-Market Strategy (GTM):

Through your commercial squad that consists of sales, marketing, proposition, product mgt, engineering and CS teams

  • Plan GTM for new product and proposition launches

  • Develop and agree the propositions

  • Coordinate the execution of the GTM plans

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Broad experience across product management, sales, marketing and customer success

  • Proven track record product innovation delivery and commercialisation

  • Ideally strong knowledge of the Hospitality SaaS market, trends, best practices, and technologies particularly around AI

  • Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a matrix structure – this role will report into the Global Accommodation Division General Manager and Regional leader for HOS in North America

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to translate product vision into actionable plans and deliverables.

  • Experience in using data and analytics tools to measure and optimize sales, marketing and CS performance
