This role offers a unique opportunity to take the helm of an ambitious, innovative network in a phase of strong momentum.

In a demanding and highly competitive market, Comptoir Seigneurie Gauthier and Peinture de Paris (180 stores, 1,000 employees)—integrated networks of the PPG Group and the French market leader in the sale of paints and decorative products to professionals—are seeking their future Commercial Director – Captive Network France.

In this position, you will report directly to the Managing Director of PPG Architectural Coatings (AC) France. The role is based in Rueil-Malmaison (92) and requires national mobility of approximately 40%.

Your mission is to lead your teams toward commercial excellence and business growth. Close proximity to both our customers and our teams will enable you to successfully carry out our purpose: “to protect and beautify France.”

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and embody the France commercial strategy, in close alignment with the Group’s strategy

  • Drive the economic performance of the network (revenue, margin, pricing, inventory, productivity, etc.) in a highly competitive market where growth levers are critical

  • Develop and inspire teams across a structured regional organization

  • Strengthen a customer-centric culture focused on value creation and professional customer satisfaction

  • Elevate the level of commercial excellence

  • Work closely with Marketing, Technical, and Supply Chain teams

Profile:

  • A recognized executive and hands-on leader, you combine strategic vision with operational execution. You bring 10+ years of experience leading large multisite distribution networks and substantial sales forces in demanding environments.

  • You have operated in complex trading and distribution businesses such as B2B, B2B2C, B2C, specialty retail (GSS), DIY retail (GSB), and/or FMCG/CPG environments.

  • Experienced in managing P&Ls exceeding €150M, you are able to consolidate and drive sustainable performance within a matrixed, competitive, and constantly evolving environment.

  • A pragmatic, results-driven leader known for uniting teams, you are motivated by high standards, tangible impact, and a strong team spirit.

Compensation: €130k – €180k + 25% bonus + company car
