The key responsibilities of the Commercial Demand Planner are:
- Manage demand planning activities for a specific set of products within the U.S. Fleet market
- Develop and maintain production proposals based on demand volume and product mix analysis
- Maximize fulfillment of market demand while balancing profitability, supplier capabilities, and manufacturing constraints
- Align production plans with customer orders and forecasted demand
- Monitor demand signals and escalate issues related to gaps or mismatches between market demand and future production plans
- Support the monthly S&D process by gathering, analyzing, and consolidating demand inputs for Fleet Commercial and Rental channels
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within Supply Chain, Sales, and Fleet Operations to ensure alignment on planning assumptions and business priorities
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve forecast accuracy, planning efficiency, and decision-making
- Assist in identifying risks and opportunities related to volume, mix, capacity, and market changes
Preferred Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, demand and production planning, purchasing, sales and marketing, finance, or production control
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills as well as Google Suite
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop consensus across multiple cross-functional groups
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree OR Bachelor's degree with focus areas in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Purchasing, Finance, Operations Management or related field
- Knowledge of Fleet Commercial or Rental market dynamics
- Experience working with monthly S&D or S&OP processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify planning inconsistencies or risks
