Position Summary
As a Commercial Credit Intern, you will receive an inside look at our fast-paced banking environment. Sharpening fundamental commercial/credit software skills, broadening your understanding of commercial products/language, how Busey identifies and assesses risk factors associated with Commercial Loans, and assist with portfolio management projects – are only a few ways you will be asked to flex and learn throughout your internship at Busey!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform research and data clean-up within the Commercial Loan Portfolio using Bank systems.
- Gather borrower and industry information
- Assist with analysis of financial information
- Participate in e-learning and classroom training as assigned.
- Attend Weekly Loan Committee and Commercial Sales Pipelines Meetings
- Analyze loan packages and collateral files for completeness
- Partner with other departments/associates to expand your understanding of holisitic Busey services – all with the intent to best serve our customer.
Education & Experience

Education and Training:
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies with a concentration in: Business, Finance, or related field.
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
